FAIR International Health Insurance Conference starts today!

The healthcare industry in Asia and Africa region continue to deal with the fast advancing challenges. Escalating healthcare costs, limited funding for public healthcare, uninsured and aging population, insufficient healthcare services, economic inflation, unpredictable pandemic and new diseases, sophistication in insurance needs, traditional medicines, pricing and affordability are among the common headlines for these developing and emerging markets.
Malaysia Healthcare CEO, Suresh Ponnudurai will be speaking at the conference on a very engaging topic; 'Taking Health to the Next Level with Medical Tourism for Insurers'

Despite the challenges, there is still great potential for strong business and revenue growth, considering the low penetration rate, tax relief incentive and health tourism. Insurers and reinsurers must choose the right perspective and formulate winning strategy such as through partnership, innovation, services, technology etc. Therefore, taking advantage on these challenges would create a long term competitive advantage for the company towards becoming the market leader.
Against this backdrop, The Malaysian Insurance Institute (MII) and the Federation of Afro-Asian Insurers and Reinsurers (FAIR) believe that it is timely to organise the FAIR International Health Insurance Conference under the theme Leveraging Business Challenges to Drive Growth.

We look forward to seeing you there!
