Healthcare sector and Medical Tourism to be a key growth engines!


The healthcare sector is set to be transformed from a social service and consumer of wealth to a private sector-driven engine for economic growth under the Economic Transformation Programme (ETP). Three healthcare sub-sectors have been identified to be key drivers of this growth: pharmaceutical, health services - including healthcare travel, specialist care centres and care of seniors - and medical technology products.

Malaysia Healthcare will be supporting the government's initiatives in the Healthcare Travel / Medical Tourism sector as we continue to market and promote Malaysia as a leading healthcare destination.
